Dr. Harris is a Palmer College of Chiropractic graduate who is passionate about providing effective and individualized care for those seeking better health without drugs or surgery. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Biology from Virginia Military Institute, where he also competed in NCAA Track and Cross Country and served as team captain. Dr. Harris utilizes several chiropractic adjusting techniques, including low force gentle adjusting for those requiring such treatment. In addition, he utilizes nutritional coaching to help support the body’s natural healing process along with prescribing rehabilitative exercises, myofascial release/massage therapy techniques, and Kinesio taping as part of his clinical protocols. He has provided chiropractic care at dozens of sports competitions throughout the state.

Dr. Harris is passionate about providing effective and individualized care for those seeking better health without drugs, injections or surgery. He believes in customizing his care to each individual, as we are all very unique and deserve to be treated as such. Dr. Harris strives to teach patients how to become independent and therefore emphasizes patient education: how to recognize the cause of pain, and how to best cope with the issue at the home and work place. This speeds up the healing process and complements treatment in the clinic. He believes in looking at the body as a whole to find the cause of pain. By removing dysfunction, we can allow the body to self-regulate and the healing process can be facilitated. When the body is in a state of balance, many symptoms tend to resolve. Dr. Harris also gives patients realistic options: if he can’t help you, he will be honest and will be more than happy to offer alternative options and refer you to the appropriate place when necessary.
