Dr. Jeffrey N. Shebovsky was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. He attended the State University of New York in Albany, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He then continued his education at New York Chiropractic College, where he graduated with honors and became a Doctor of Chiropractic. He has been a practicing Chiropractic Doctor ever since.

Over the years, Dr. Jeff has received many prestigious awards for both his professional and educational achievements. Some of his honors include: being named to the National Dean’s list of Colleges and Universities; membership in the Phi Chi Omega International Chiropractic Honor Society; a recipient of the New York Chiropractic College Dean’s List Award and the New York Chiropractic College Service Award.

Dr. Shebovsky believes that knowledge shared is an important contribution to the future and he has invested his time and extensive knowledge by training student doctors studying for their National Board Exams. He is continually keeping abreast of the latest trends and discoveries and has completed post graduate training in sports injuries, whiplash, and brain injury traumatology to provide his patients with the best care possible. In line with his strong interest in sports and sports injuries, Dr. Shebovsky is also the official team chiropractor for the Orlando Solar Bears professional ice hockey team.
Dr. Shebovsky’s specialties include personal injury care and family practice, with an additional emphasis on disc decompression through the use of VAX-D. He believes that an educated and informed patient will attain the best results and he lectures frequently within the Central Florida community. He is a member of the American Chiropractic Association, the Florida Chiropractic Association, and the Central Florida Chiropractic Society. He is also the president of the Central Florida Chiropractic Society.

Dr. Shebovsky and his wife Carol have three children. His hobbies include playing baseball, weight training, golf, and magic.

Dr. Niebrugge received his doctorate in Chiropractic Medicine from Logan University in St. Louis, Missouri. In addition, he holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science and Sports Medicine from Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tennessee. He has also served in the United States Navy.

Dr. Niebrugge not only enjoys working with athletes at all levels of competition; but also applying those same highly effective techniques into a general practice setting, helping patients from all walks of life make a more timely and effective recovery from auto injury, headaches, or neck and back pain.
Dr. Niebrugge’s overall approach to patient care is a simple one: “There really are no differences between helping an athlete or celebrity recover quickly from injury, and maintaining a high level of function and performance than the rest of us. They both depend on their bodies for their livelihood, and as a result, both deserve world-class care.”

Outside the office, Dr. Niebrugge enjoys time with his family, photography, and travel.


Dr. Gadiel Vargas was born in Puerto Rico and has called Orlando home since the age of three.

After growing up in Orlando, he graduated from Nova Southeastern University with a Bachelor of Health Science Degree and attended Palmer College of Chiropractic in Port Orange, Florida where he earned the degree of Doctor of Chiropractic.

When it comes to chiropractic care, Dr. Gadiel is thankful for his ability to understand the root of his patient’s pain and tailor his touch based upon each individual’s needs. He feels a great deal of satisfaction when he can reduce his patient’s pain while treating them as if they were members of his own family.
Dr. Vargas believes it’s important to help others and give back to the community. While attending Palmer College he volunteered with several colleagues to provide care to injured veterans, as well as volunteering at the Sobriety House where he offered chiropractic care to the patients in the facility.

Dr. Vargas and his wife have three young boys and love spending time with them at the park, attending Magic basketball games and hosting family barbecues. He feels a strong connection with the Hunter’s Creek Community because he has lived here since he was a young child.


Dr. Carlos H. Colombo was born and raised in South America and is fluent in Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, and English. He attended the University of La Plata, in Buenos Aires, where he received his training in emergency medicine, pathology, and internal medicine. He then continued his education in the United States and studied at the Framingham Union Hospital, University of Massachusetts, and Orlando Regional Medical Center.

Dr. Colombo’s health care emphasis is on wellness and preventive medicine. He specializes in injuries and disability and is dedicated to the non-surgical treatment of soft tissue trauma, with an emphasis on physical therapy and rehabilitation.
Dr. Colombo also has extensive experience in court testimony and clinical quality improvement.

He is very active in community health education and women’s wellness. Dr. Colombo is a member of the American Medical Association. His hobbies include music and traveling.


Dr. Anis Khalaf, OMD, AP believes that all patients can improve their health through Traditional Chinese Medicine. Dr. Anis trained as a Primary Care Provider in Orlando, Florida. He is a licensed Acupuncture Physician and received his degree from the Florida College of Integrative Medicine. He owns his own practice Acupuncture Fit centrally located near downtown Orlando.

His background started where he held his clinical rotation’s with world renowned Acupuncture Physician and Orthopedic Surgeon, Dr. Zhi Liang Huo. Under Dr. Huo’s guidance Dr. Anis mastered his famous five point scalp acupuncture technique. His main areas of research interest are in sports acupuncture, integrative medicine, scalp acupuncture and acupuncture injection therapy.

Dr. Anis works with a various number of local professional sports athletes, is a member of the Florida Holistic Physician’s Alliance, committee member for the Orlando City Soccer Foundation, Food for the Poor, co-host on the “Back to Wellness” radio show with Dr. Jeff Shebovsky on New Talk 96.5 WDBO FM, has been feature on the NBC affiliate station WESH2 News and is developing free alternative health screening programs for philanthropic use locally, nationally and internationally.

His other areas of specialty are herbal medicine, infertility, addiction, weight loss, homeopathy, and food therapy. Dr. Anis Khalaf’s primary goal is to help his patients improve their health through Traditional Chinese Medicine and integrative medicine programs.
